Help your grandchildren discover the joy of Christmas through a shepherd’s search for Jesus.

Legacy Coalition has partnered with The Shepherd on the Search to give grandparents a creative way to connect with their grandchildren, share their faith, and make memories together.

Shepherd on the Search Christmas display featuring a plush shepherd, illustrated storybook, and nativity scene

A Christmas tradition that points to Jesus

When the angels announced the good news of Jesus’ birth, the shepherds went to find Him. Bring that story into your family’s Advent season with a shepherd of your own. Read his journey together, then hide the plush shepherd in a new spot each day for your grandchildren to discover. His search leads to the manger on Christmas Day.

The Activity Book Set

  • A soft, 9.25-inch plush shepherd
  • A beautifully illustrated, interactive 9 × 9-inch hardcover storybook
  • A reusable nativity keepsake box

Enjoy the daily search together or give the set to your grandchildren’s family. Each discovery offers a playful starting point for conversations about God’s greatest gift, Jesus, and a tradition your family can return to year after year.
