Grandparenting Adoptive and Foster Grandchildren

“Forever Families” for adoptive grandchildren and “Safe Refuges” for foster grandchildren come in all shapes and sizes: domestic adoption, international adoption, foster to adopt, and foster families. Grandparents have a unique and special role to play in these families as the front-line circle of support for the challenges that may come and the cheerleaders for the celebrations that unfold! Understanding the trauma that is often a part of adoption and fostering will be included in our conversation together.
